I thought Discovery was very good this year. My only problems are they make the one actor (Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Burnham) too much of a focus and do it all. Plus, they don’t have any of the fun episodes. It’s all about drama and every episode has to have major action. I guess that is done because they have limited episodes and follow more of an arc path in story telling.

I am only a few episodes in on Discovery, but I enjoy it as well.

I’m looking forward to this one.
 
I’ll be watching it.
 
I could not get into the preview - don't know why but it just didn't grab me. Maybe Picard just looked very old to me.
