Listening to some of my old favorites, and realizing how many of these guys have passed on the last few years. Got into an old Johnny Winter kick this week, in my opinion just about the best American Blues/Rock guitarists ever. This one has the added bonus of Rick Derringer on second guitar:

Gregg Allman - Laid Back

Weezer - Pinkerton. Always reminds me of a good year.

Got the easy mix shuffle going on the iPad with the EarPods in.
Now Playing : Fade Into You by Mazzy Star
Next Up : We’re not gonna take it (anymore) by Dee Snider

My go to list when its wind down time

Vinyl night!

Otis Redding.

I haven’t yet, but now that you say that it is definately on my must listen to.

Buffalo Tom - Sleepy Eyed. Great band out of New England that never really made it, but put out some good albums in the 90’s and still putting out music.

The Pharcyde - Labcabincalifornia

Love bands like that, just keep doing what they do. There are some great artists from the STL area still doing that, too. Billy Barnett comes immediately to mind.

Brand New - Degausser

Like their music, but their frontman is a scumbag.

Meat Loaf - Bat Out of Hell album, in class.

Magic Pie - The Suffering Joy

Fantastic prog from Norway. Not sure how I've managed to miss these guys all these years, but just heard them a couple days ago on Morow.com.
