Wow DC United! Left for dead and now in the playoffs... what a second half of the season for them.

Another 3 points for the Toffees yesterday and 3 wins on the bounce. Man U next week so that should be fun!

Also to see Rooney lead DC United to the playoffs is great. Glad he's finding great success in the MLS.

A helicopter belonging to the chairman of Leicester City has crashed outside the club's stadium.

Photos showed a huge fireball, while witnesses told Sky Sports News the helicopter took off from the pitch but lost control within a few seconds and crashed into car park E - the club's staff car park.

Witnesses saw the craft go into a spin after taking off.

A helicopter believed to be carrying Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, Leicester City’s chairman, has crashed outside the King Power Stadium following Leicester’s home draw with West Ham United.

The identity of the passengers is unknown and it is unclear if there were any survivors. The incident occurred around an hour after the final whistle. Eyewitnesses reported that the helicopter had crashed shortly after taking off from the pitch. It crashed in a nearby car park apparently after developing a fault. Emergency services rushed to the scene to tackle a huge fire.

There was confusion outside as security personnel attempted to restore order. Supporters in the area walked away in obvious distress and Kasper Schmeichel, Leicester’s goalkeeper, was seen in tears.

Srivaddhanaprabha, who bought the east Midlands club in 2010, is normally flown back to London after games. The backing of the Thai businessman, 60, helped Leicester win the Premier League title in 2016.

Leicestershire police said: “We are dealing with an incident in the vicinity of the King Power Stadium. Emergency services are aware and dealing.”

"It is with the deepest regret and a collective broken heart that we confirm our Chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, was among those to have tragically lost their lives on Saturday evening when a helicopter carrying him and four other people crashed outside King Power Stadium. None of the five people on-board survived," a club statement read.

"The primary thoughts of everyone at the Club are with the Srivaddhanaprabha family and the families of all those on-board at this time of unspeakable loss.

"In Khun Vichai, the world has lost a great man. A man of kindness, of generosity and a man whose life was defined by the love he devoted to his family and those he so successfully led. Leicester City was a family under his leadership. It is as a family that we will grieve his passing and maintain the pursuit of a vision for the Club that is now his legacy."

A bad weekend for Leicester, but also a bad one for Glenn Hoddle who suffered a heart attack on Saturday morning and was rushed to hospital

Former England manager and Tottenham midfielder Glenn Hoddle remains in a "serious condition" in hospital after suffering a heart attack on Saturday.

Effin' United eeked out the win on the last two minutes.

Maureen looked very excited about the whole thing like he didn't care that he was even there.

Liverpool 1, Arsenal 1 was a pretty good result for City. Top of the table by two points if they beat Southampton tomorrow.

What an awesome day of soccer! Still a bit bummed about the DC United... Still a miracle they made they playoffs considering how the season started IMO

Watching City dismantle Southampton from earlier today. 3-0 after 18 minutes. Wonder how many more they will get?

Well at least it was Ederson's gaffe that snapped his scoreless streak.

What a beatdown. People who say they don't like soccer because there's no scoring needs to start watching Man City play. 6-1 today, and 33 goals out of 11 games so far. That's on pace for 114, which would shatter the record they set just last year. (And only four goals against)
