I only go once or twice a year usually, and normally it's for a JA charity event through work. Last Friday was one of those days.

The team that I was on bowled two games and then most quit. One other guy and I kept going to run out the time in the fee lanes (we had the whole place booked for our event), and ended up rolling 6 games worth. My beat of the day was a 178

I think I'm doing pretty well, have only bowled 30 get before this week, in that sort time have gone from like a 80 average to a 119,and should go up this week.

Had an awesome last game, 160. Almost ended on a 4 banger. Had three gutter balls picked up the spare on one.

Rolled a 167 last night. My best ever. Emi and I teamed up for a team 258 which was our best ever. Figured something out and got hot.

Your mean Smalls. :p

def a fun hobby, if your getting into it you might as well get shoes and a ball drilled for you, (it's the best way to improve and correct issues) I got my shoes off bowlingball.com and you can get a ball there i'd suggest having a house drill the ball for you and not just go off measurements you send to internet if ball is off the web, I just prefer buying the ball from the house, have fun!

I use exPBA professional Justin Romeck to drill mine up

I've finished the last two seasons at 220. I'm currently rolling DV8, have about 8 of their pieces plus a white dot spare ball. Black/Blue/Gray special edition SST8's. Finshed 62 out of over 1,000 entries in the state open for all events. 5 300's, 3 800's.

I have bowled since I was 7. I was the Product Specialist for a company called bowlingball.com before I left there a little over a year ago after my son was born to spend more time with family. We used to do bowling videos on youtube and everything. Carried a 230 avg up until I stopped bowling when I left bowlingball.com. Battled some back, hip, and knee issues from a car accident I was in. Bowling in FL is more of a summer time thing as our golf sewason is in the winter. Lol. I bowled in college too at the Univ of Central FL and then was an assistant coach.

Love the DV8 brand. I used to do demo videos with bowlingball.com and the Hellraiser Revenge was one of my favorite videos to shoot. I walked away from bowling about a year ago as well as bowlingball.com. Still go back to see all of them from time to time, but I wanted to spend more time with my new family than at work. Check youtube for the revenge video. I am Mike, former product specialist for bowlingball.com.

I am actually talking to my old college coach who just opened up his 3rd shop in the area and may get back in to drilling equipment part time. Just as something to do and get back in to the sport a little.

Mike,

Holy rev rate. Lofting the gutter cap is uber impressive. That's not easy to do by any stretch of the imagination.

Looking foward to hearing your take on some of the new high perf balls this coming season...if you still have the connections like it looks that you do. And...Welcome to THP!

Haha. Yea the rev rate is a little insane. That rev rate is a bit exaggerated for the videos. The guys wanted someone comparable to the 2 handed players and I was the only one on staff that could get on it like that. While testing oil at Kegel I once hit 771 rpm, which at the time was higher than anyone that had used the CATS software. I think Belmo and Osku could probably get passed that now though. I actually switched to left handed for my last season bowling due to all the injuries. Haven’t picked up anything in the past year just trying to let things heal over time. I still keep in touch with the guys at bowlingball.com. My son is actually named in honor of the owner of the company. If anyone has any questions about a particular ball, just let me know.

Nice...771 thats crazy. I was usually in the 350-400 range on pretty normal basis, but never anywhere close to that. I used to watch your vids on bowlingball.com and looked for them as your style was closet to mine.

I completely stopped bowling last season because I got tired/expensed out of the sport trying to keep up with all the equipment hounds in town. After a while the inconsistant oiling and changing oil every other week it just took the fun of it for me. I had one house owner tell me the oil was same week in week out for for the first 15 weeks of the season after I questioned him about it. I told him there was no way that was the case. He asked why i thought that. I said because I come in here week in and week out and have throw a different shot every week and I'm more than consistant enough to know where the oil is week in and week out. And I don't think your laying the same shot down week to week...no other word said he just walked away. Gave me the answer I needed.

You want it the same for 32 weeks? Really?

Finally picked it up this week:

Why wouldn't you? You mean you want it to be a guessing game and as much as 5 to 10 boards different at the foul line and break point every week? A ditch to ditch flood one week and baren desert the next? If I'm bowling in a sport shot league sure, but I also will know the named pattern for the week and will know ahead of time whats going on. But for a house shot league I would expect it to the same week in week out.

For the challenge. Sports aint made to be easy.I wouldn't want same temp, wind tee spot & pin placement day after day.
