Interesting to listen to Sean talk about the correlation of sound to speed. To paraphrase " The louder the sound, the more speed you expect." Then he compared the Vegas to the EXO #7. The Vegas by virtue of being a milled face will have a louder sound than the EXO with the softer insert. So one would expect a little more speed off the face from the Vegas if I understand his comments. He also stated they firmed up the insert of the EXO compared to last year.

The only time I have struggled with the EXO is when greens are very slow. So the Vegas seems like it would be a solution for me in those situations. Besides the fantastic look. So I'm leaning heavily on ordering the Vegas and then seeing how it compares to the EXO. And then possibly ordering the EXO #7 with the Stroke Lab shaft after.

Man! This made me all gritty! I cant wait either! Especially after I got that fortune today and @Boder said it must be about putters lol. I cant wait for everyone, myself included to start receiving our Toulons and pull that sexy Toulon Las Vegas with the flow neck, full face milling, Strokelab shaft and large grip out of the box!

So I decided to change out the weight in my Atlanta to try and jump start my putting and darn it that is one tight fit, I gave up after pounding it on the rug for ten minutes and the wife (who is ill) starting yelling at me.

I got it out before using the same method, but this time no bueno...yet

Last time I had the weight out I had to pry it out with a really small allen key.

One thing I want to quickly add in here is that the Austin has received a beautiful facelift for this year, beyond the new branding and milling.

The overall shape has been completely revamped and is now a much better Anser shape. The heel side bumper has been shrunk, the neck ties in a little further back, and the bumpers have been reshaped completely. It's absolutely gorgeous and has such great lines now.

As someone that just received one of the last older models I'm interested to see what was changed. On the 11th I picked this up:


Went out today but there is still snow in the shade at the course... Like what I've seen and most likely going to hold off this season but I've been thinking about a keeping the plumbers neck and having a site dot with a darker finish.

I may be wrong but I think that's going to be the Palm Beach. I don't remember any other models that have that shape.

Now all the anticipation for that one makes sense.

That shape is a cult classic for Odyssey, happy to see it making the Toulon lineup
