F-ck Yeah Baby!
Had a good time practicing today just with chips. Obviously it'll be how the green responds on a given day but when chipping to flags on the other side of the green I felt more comfortable and better with the 54*. The 58* was more of a land and stop, definitely a weapon to use on closer flags since the rollout didn't seem to happen with the 58*.
Now again, I'm sure these greens were rolling a 9 so that is why the 54* felt better and more comfortable, even used my Epic AW to get more rollout on flags further away.
I am playing a course tomorrow that is known for fast greens, on it's best day rolls at 11, but more than likely 10-10.5. I'll be sure to work with the 58 prior to my round to see if I'll be using this more around the greens during my round.
I was using the Truvis to see the spin when it lands, fun to see and to get an idea of how much extra spin these grooves provide.
