Cobra KING F9 SPEEDBACK Fairway Woods

Ok I am a short hitter with a sub 80 mph swing speed and if I can hit a 3w over 170yards i am happy. I was hitting the cobra 180 and even one at 190. This is with range balls as well.

I am using the helium f2 light flex and it feels great.

On the course I get a bit more run out so I can easily see the 3w going 200 for me.

I'm about the same with swing speed, and would absolutely love to get back to hitting a 3-wood 200 yards again like I could 5/6 years ago.

It's so good, I am using the helium light flex and playing at 14.5 and it still launches easier than my ts2 set at 17.
Still waiting on my 5w then I am all set

Got fitted the other day for F9 driver and 3W. They are amazing clubs.

I bought the F9 3W with a Graphite Design Tour IZ 7s. I have no issue with 240 yards total distance off the deck. The hybrids could be next or a 5w.

Hopefully we can get this thread rocking with some feedback. I'm very curious if the cnc milling adds any benefit on this version and if the rails on the 5w work as advertised.

Having hit the demo 3-4 wood with the milled face, it feels so solid on contact. I was just hitting into a net with no numbers with it but it came off like a cannon and has such a powerful sound. I'm still waiting on mine to be delivered but I already think I will be much more comfortable with this than I was with my Rogue 3w. I'm planning to loft it up a bit to the 4w range but I'll have to see how it gaps out with my new Rogue X 3h. It's already a winner for me with the adjustability I was missing on the Rogue to fine tune it the top end of my bag.

If you are waivering between hybrids and 5 wood, you might consider the tour 4-5. With the smaller head, it provides some of the advantages of both and with its adjustability, you have options to ensure proper gapping.

I am going to hit the 5w and hybrid and see how it plays out. Thanks for advice, looking at your setup it makes sense. How long is the 5W for you?

Pondering 3-4 with Atmos red. (The only Mid spin high launch they offer(.

Or maybe Evenflo blue or a helium (both mid /mid).

This club is a beast!! I cannot wait to get mine.

Anyone have any idea how long it takes Cobra to custom build a club?

I don’t know the distances yet, because all of us in the Morgan Cup are waiting for arrival of our equipment. I will certainly be posting what I see as soon as I get to swing it (which may be awhile, given the winter we are having).

In my experience, if they have the shafts in stock, only two or three days.

My tour length Driver and -1/2" 3-4w with Helium shafts were ordered on Tuesday and I was given an anticipated ship date of Monday 2/11.

My two MC fairway woods came in today.

So. Freaking. Good!!!

Wow. I can’t wait to see those bad boys hit some golf balls.

Great looking fairways gents.

Okay. I have a question for F9 Fairway owners. I have an F7 3-wood that I typically hit 185-190. On Monday, I actually hit 1 shot with it 200, and another 215; don't ask me how because I don't know. The 200+ shots are obviously outliers. I'm somewhat consistent with my F7, but my usual miss is to the left. So, give my normal performance with my F7, is upgrading to the F9 worth it? I'm not all that worried about the cost, but is there a significant performance difference between the 2, in terms of dispersion and distance?

I have the 5/6 Fwy's in both F7 and F9 I'll be in a sim Saturday, so I can give you my thoughts after.

So I took the fairway wood set neutral at 14.5 on the sim last night. I don't hit 3 woods well.

I was stunned by the numbers - almost driver speeds, spin rate was where you'd want it, and it launched pretty damn easy. This was not an expected development. I never even tried to tee it up. Very impressive club with the Atmos shaft.

I can't decide which shaft to get in F9 fairway. It is between the UST Helium 4 and Mitsubishi Bassara E 42. My driver swing speed is 75-80. Any thoughts between the two, is lighter always better for slower swing speeds. Thanks for your help on this
