The stuff is starting to come in. Could there be better receptacles than these?
I want to know more about that Srixon bomber bag

I’m still a big fan of that product
Golf Pride Grips arrived. Three full boxes.
Is there a way to test the stiffness of a shaft with one of these machines? There has been a lot of discussion here about shortening driver shafts and what effect it would have on flex. It would be cool to test a shaft at stock length and then cut it down and measure the effects with a machine. Then have the human machine aka Canadan hit it before and after to see if it changes the characteristics of the shaft and how it effects ball striking and distance. I am sure your plate is full with club lab and range days being brand new so this could be done later on.
There are so many cool things that are going to come out of the THP club lab. 2019 is looking great so far.
Shaft Frequency does that to an extent, sure. I will do the frequency measure for you today to show the CPM difference between two identical shafts, one cut at 45" and the other at 44" if that works.

This will be an interesting test. My initial thought would be that cutting a shaft just one inch would make the shaft stiffer and change the kick point enough to change the characteristics of expected launch.
Very curious to see the results.

The general consensus is that cutting a shaft from the butt end will make it play softer not stiffer. A knowledgeable member pointed out that shaft profile will make a difference and there is no hard and fast rule how a shaft will respond to being shortened. It will be fun to see how JB's shaft responds to being cut down and try it with a few different shafts to see if there is a pattern. Knowledge, and the quest for it is so much fun.
