Apologies if this was covered already in a thread, but it's rainy and windy here today, making me think of fall golf, and memories of freezing my b**t off last October. So -- what are people's recommendations for cold-weather gear? Fall golf around here tends to be chilly (40s, 50s) and windy, but generally dry, so perfect water-resistance isn't a priority. Been looking at Zero Restriction, but I'm wide open to the wisdom of the community.
Gear for cold/windy conditions
I play a fair amount in the winter in 40/50 temps. I just layer, light thermal on top, with a light shirt and then a fleece or wind breaker on the outside. I don't worry about the bottoms as much as we always walk in the winter time so the legs will stay warm that way. I keep had warmers handy for the hands when needed.
