Lake Tahoe Open - Part Deux - 2019

Coo, yah wanted to give people more options with more golf for those coming in for the weekend.
 
Lodging Update * This has been a biatch with some resorts not cooperating and/or speaking clearly but I found an option that should work for our group at the price point originally stated.

Current count for # of nights total between the 3 nights for our group is 35. So far that would make it $108/night to stay in the 2 bedroom suites that I have put a deposit on. The more nights people stay the lower the price. Most of the people are staying Saturday night and about half are staying Sunday night. If you are on the fence about staying another night there will be room and if you stay it drops down the price of everyone per night.

Current - 35 Nights = $108
Ex:40 Nights =$94

The 2 bedroom suites contain 1 K, 1 Q and 1 pullout Q and a full kitchen. I have booked three suites based this on the fact that the King will be shared and therefore there is bed sleeping for 4 people. Not everyone listed that they NEEDED a bed and so I have thought that two to a room on a cot or comfy floor bed would work. If we get more people we can opt for another 2 bedroom suite to fill it out.

If you are not interested in this option I have booked a block of rooms (either 1 King or 2 Queens) at Montbleu Casino. These range from $125-$185 per person per night depending on whether or not you are staying F/Sa/Su, F/Sa, Sa/Sun or just Sa. Each night's price is different and with tax/fees it makes it more expensive. You do have the luxury of your own room though! If you want to go ahead with this version then please get in contact with me. If you want to book or stay somewhere on your own thats cool too. There are about 5 people that already have their accommodations down for the weekend.

Okay that should be good on updates for now. A lot of moving pieces last week or so, so when we lock down everything it will be a lot smoother.

Saturday AM - Genoa Ranch Course - $70
Saturday PM - Genoa Lakes Course - $60

1. For $20 more than the Lake Tahoe Golf Course... we can play two (which look like better) courses.

2. The course would be able to shuttle for free 12-20 people from where we are staying at Stateline. We also will have plenty of vehicles if not. It is 20 miles from Stateline.

3. It is closer to the Reno airport for those flying in Saturday morning and want to meet at the course for the PM round.

4. More golf for those coming into the area

5. The Saturday PM round would still be Round #1 of the Lake Tahoe Open


For those coming in Friday it's more golf for $20 extra.. for those coming in for the Saturday PM round it's half priced with just 20 mile difference on location.

I sent you a PM but I know you're busy so you might miss it so I figured I would post here also. I am fine with whatever the group wants and if we do 36 I'll play 36. I'll be staying at a casino so I don't need any lodging from u but looking fwd to a lot of golf

@itsopeningday More gawf the better for me and if the course is in better shape then even better. Bed, cot, couch, etc anywhere I can spread out and recharge each night is good for me. No need for extra pillows. #ThatsNotAPillow

Very nice man, not sure where you have me but figure me in for Friday and Saturday night for sure. If I can get both Friday and Monday off I will stay sunday as well and play Monday, but can't commit to that.

Hey guys, unfortunately I’m gonna have to back out on this.
I lost my job in January, jobless since and financially, I’m at a real bad place now.
You guys know me though... I always looked forward to events like this to hang out with old friends and make new ones. I’m so sorry I can’t make it and being MIA last couple of months.
Have a great time guys. I’ll be there in spirits... haha. If it is half of what it was last years’ gathering, you guys will have a blast!
