Today on the Cradle, hole 9. I should have worn shorts it was so nice. This is my buddy. Not me as nobody thought to grab a picture of me!

Hole #6 green Par 4 on the left. Owners home on right. There is $2 million worth of stone work between the green and the house.

It's probably been posted before by somebody else, but you can't not love #7 on the Clive Course at The Hideaway.

As a city slicker, would the cat be worrisome to someone stumbling upon it?
Not really. You’d have to make it feel threatened at a very close range.

Bobcats don't want anything to do with humans. Unless you gave it no choice, it would rather go the other way than attack you.

That’s good news. Consider the feeling mutual then.

This yearling doe greeted us at the 7th today. The middle two tee boxes are being reworked, she was on one of them, but just stood there and watched as I drove by on the way to the white tees up ahead.

After I practiced, I walked the course yesterday. This is one of two flocks, and they :poop: all over the place.

Beautiful Spring day at Apple Mountain yesterday.

Fantastic view from the tee on the par-5 9th, with a spectator passing through:

All three of us hit the green on the 15th, my favorite little par-3:

All three of us hit the green on the 15th, my favorite little par-3:
I only played there once and unfortunately it was SUPER cold. We were all bundled up and it was cart-path-only, which sucked. My mom hit a sideways shot that hit my wife in the shin (good thing she was wearing essentially thick sweats). She had a bump on her shin for 2 months after.
That course was too tight for my liking. We all struggled since it was our first time and didn't know where we could miss or anything.

A couple from We-Ko-Pa in Fountain Valley, AZ

Yes, that's a split fairway - you have to choose left or right around that "desert island" in the middle of the fairway. Left has more room and less hazards, but is longer; right is a narrower fairway and has a waste area running diagonally across it further up, but is a more direct route to the green. If you don't choose and end up in the middle, you're either in the "island" hitting off a rough desert lie, or behind it and completely blocked out by the trees.

Nice look at the native desert flora which is all over We-Ko-Pa. Saguaro, Cholla and Barrel cactus, plenty of Mesquite trees and Ocotillos.
