Kuchar - Mayakoba Caddie Drama - Your Take?

Played at Reynolds Lake Oconee last week. We had a caddy who winters at PGA West. He had caddied for a number of Tour players. He spoke highly of Finau, but described Kuchar as cheap. $25 tip is less than he usually gets from ordinary golfers , and considerably less than pros with $20m+ in winnings give him.

Many rich people are cheap.

Oh good, this thread again.

You don't stay rich by giving money away.

True statement. I remember when I used to loop we had a billionaire CEO who would wait until the afternoon to play when he was allowed to carry his own bag and then take a caddie to carry his wife’s bag. He then would expect you to perform the caddie duties for both players (yardages/green reads/raked bunkers/etc) and at the end of the round would only pay the minimum amount for one bag. Needless to say I looped for him once and then refused to be assigned to him again.
