Starting tomorrow at Royal Lytham & St Annes

Early leaders at -2 include Colin Montgomerie, Darren Clarke, and Woody Austin.

Chamblee starts with a double....lots of sympathy...…………..btw sympathy can be found next to syphilis in the dictionary.

Wes Short Jr posts 3 under to take the lead

Scott Dunlap and Paul Broadhurst join the party at -3 (67)

Dunlap posts 5 under to set the mark in the 2nd round, Ken Duke is in at -3, followed by Bernhard Langer at -2; still a lot of golf left today.

Wes Short Jr leads after 2 at -6, then Dunlap at -5, and Darren Clarke at -4.

Tom Watson announced this will be his final Senior Open Championship, and that he will no longer play in the US Senior Open.

Paul Broadhurst (who has been lurking all week) snatches the lead after 3 at -5.

Tom Watson has gotten to that age (70 in 2 months) where he realizes he can't compete to win anymore, he said as much. All the legends eventually get there.

Langer has the lead by 3 with two holes to play.

Nice 66 for Langer. Going to take a miracle by Broadhurst to tie.

Bernhard Langer owns the Sr. Open it seems; another great round played in nasty, rainy conditions earns him another Sr. Open title.

awesome performance by Langer, what is he 62?

I really liked watching this tournament this year. Langer is a machine, I do believe he is 61 or 62. He looks like he can keep going for awhile too. Usually the wheels fall off for these guys by the late 50’s.

Finally got around to watching the recording of the final round. These guys are slower than slow.
