Found yesterday to be super enjoyable and the score thing didn’t bother me at all.

Agreed. It really made it rather interesting early, which is different from the somewhat mundane starts that normally take place.

After a couple crazy days at work I'm catching up on the action. Thank God for DVR. The new format didn't bother me as much as I thought it would but we'll see how they finish and if it makes a huge difference in the end. The top of the leaderboard is looking like a fun weekend is in the works!

Rory was in jail on 18 off the tee and hits a 3w that had to cut at least 40 yds. Pretty impressive to see him pull that one off from the pine straw.

Watching the Tour Championship, 2nd round, and Brooks Koepka was faced with a 40-50 footer & putting from the fringe. While taking his stance, we could see what looked like a pen, pencil or straw sticking through two shoelaces on the front of his left shoe!

The pencil-like thing looked to be about 6” long and at the top seemed to be a rectangular shaped card.

Googled the thingie on Koepka’s golf shoe & got this...
One of the most recognizable items is a zip-tie attached to the laces. It has no performance value, making it a glorified status symbol.
While the white plastic zip-tie looks cumbersome if you’re working out in the shoes, it’s apparently a thing to leave it on.
The rectangular thing at the top of the zip-tie contains info about the shoes!
Just looked bizarre hanging off the top of Koepka’s left golf shoe!
