We have all had that lie on the course that makes us go uuuuuuuuuuugh.... Did it end up in a tree? Ugly spot in a divot? Finish up in the cup holder of a cart? Post em here!

This was my plugged ball in a bunker in some standing water after some big rain came through the area overnight. Yes, I got a free drop in another area of the bunker, but I don't think I've seen that before.

Wasn’t mine, but guessing he took an unplayable.

Fowler had one like that at the Players this week!

This was one of @JDax ‘s lies in a bunker from a few years ago I saved.

Had this one last year.... Plugged in the face of a bunker on a par 3. Somehow put it to about 8 ft and made par. @rambler was my witness

The first pic is the ball. The second pic is where the ball is. It hit a tree a came backwards plugging under the lip opposite the side of the hole.

Not as bad as the bunkers I have seen but totally unplayable in my book

Don't have a picture, but my ball once sat perched in some sort of weed, about 12" above ground. I flopped it and saved par. Rambler is also my witness (shoal creek, KC).

Here's another gem, this time from Kinderlou in Valdosta. Guess which direction the hole is...

And now one from Mission Inn. This ball somehow ran back uphill to climb into this little nook. Who can guess which direction the hole is?

Had an ugly plug/fried egg today....

We had trouble locating my buddy’s approach shot at first. “Ummmm I think that might be it right there just short of the green....”

I had one like that a couple of weeks ago. It was the weirdest thing. I bombed my drive into the middle of the fairway and found my ball buried in what looked like an old divot, except it was half the size and 2-3 times as deep. I really had to go after that one. How'd your buddy do?

This was at the Gauntlet a few years back. I actually got it onto the green from there too. Lucky

He un-buried and hit a normal chip. LOL

The course was actually quite dry overall. The ball plugged in a spot by the green adjacent to an area I would have considered ground under repair. There was a low spot that was gathering run off from the green watering and was a mess of mower tracks. He barely cleared the mess but still obviously found a very wet patch of grass there.

These aren't my ball. My buddy had both of these situations in one round early last year. First is touching the tree. The second is actually suspended above ground in the branches. Neither ended well for him.

I didn't take a picture of it. My wedge shot landed and plugged 2" from the outside lip of the bunker. I couldn't take a swing at it toward the green. The only shot was toward the parking lot... or chop at it and hope it went forward enough so I could take another two strokes to get out of the bunker.... So I took a 2 stroke penalty and dropped outside the bunker and pitched over it. I think it was the smart play.

In a tree next to the green haha.

Not exactly impossible, but not ideal either. Right in the middle of the fairway.

I had this exact lie today. And I managed to get it up and on the green for a 2 putt bogey. But that good success with it today is usually far more the rare than the norm for this shot for me.

My Pardner in the THP Bridgestone Championship has a nasty fried egg on Firestone North. Wasn’t the worst lie I’ve seen but the worst lie I’ve seen in a big moment round.

My home course put in WAY too much sand two years ago. You are usually ok if you roll into one but flying into one you might as well just take your unplayable. The one time I tried to play it it took 3 strokes just to get down to it. We avoid them at all costs.
