Went to the range today with my 9yr old. Fun day for the both of us. Feeling good about my swing. We played with the Mevo in video form. Really cool product. So glad I bought one.

Went to the range. Hit a full bucket (Paid) and then spent 40 minutes on the putting green.

Played 14 holes on a new course. Shot 55 through front 9. Unfamiliar course, stiff back and I wasn’t hitting my driver well. I’d like to give it another try when I am playing better.

Didn’t have a chance to get a round in this weekend so hit the range. Have been struggling with keeping my irons on line, pushing everything right. So spent half the bucket just going through picking a target and making sure my alignment was on point. Amazing what happens when you take your time (not too much) and pick that point.

I won an auction on ebay for a brand new Titleist Vokey Wedge 58 degree. I am going miss my Cleveland tour action wedges, damn flood. But, the Vokey design looks the closes to it. Trying to win a 62 degree later today. Then on the hunt for at 50 and 54.

first i arrived at the golf course

then i warmed up rather poorly

then i birdied 2 of my first 3 holes

then the other shoe dropped and it was an effort to remind myself to have fun. very frustrating and disappointing. hopefully just an aberration but it was still fun to be with a few good dudes.
