Can you tee with the T marker between you and the ball or does/would that bother you?

I can't say that I've paid attention to myself doing it or not, but now that I'm aware and reading all of these replies it's going to bother the hell out of me.

I won't do it. Way too distracting for me visually.

Watching others do it makes me cringe haha

this is me all day haha. I cant do it, and I hate to watch people do it.

It's never been an issue whenever I've straddled the marker. I do share in OGPF's bugaboo though. Trying to fit my stance around a tee marker right up against one of my feet all but guarantees a disaster.

Once I learned that it was allowed I do it on several holes to give me a better angle off the tee box.

had to do this yesterday on many the tees as many of them for some reason were tucked to the least practical side of the tee boxes where the better angle was as far on the other side that it could get. In fact another player was doing similar.
