Watching the Tour Championship today and Brooks Koepka was faced with a 40-50 footer & putting from the fringe. While taking his stance, we could see what looked like a pen, pencil or straw sticking through two shoelaces on the front of his left shoe!?!?!?
Anyone know what that was? He walked on the green to size up and read his putt, then returned to putt & the pencil-like thingie was still between his shoelaces when he stroked his putt?!?
The pencil-like thing looked to be about 6” long and at the top seemed to be a rectangular shaped card.

Googled the thingie on Koepka’s golf shoe...
One of the most recognizable items on the Off-White is a zip-tie attached to the laces. It has no performance value, making it a glorified status symbol.
While the white plastic zip-tie looks cumbersome if you’re working out in the shoes, it’s apparently a thing to leave it on.
The rectangular thing at the top of the zip-tie contains info about the shoes!
