CBX Zipcore vs Mizuno ES21 seems like a must comparison
Was just thinking the same thing. Though if performance was equal, I’d take the ES21 due to looks. I need a new 58*, now I have a couple options to consider.

I’d have to see them in person to judge looks. I do like a black finish. Was just thinking the same thing. Though if performance was equal, I’d take the ES21 due to looks. I need a new 58*, now I have a couple options to consider.
Very different animals. Was just thinking the same thing. Though if performance was equal, I’d take the ES21 due to looks. I need a new 58*, now I have a couple options to consider.
Ooooooooh! Nice!Well, I didn't start the week planning on spending $450.00 on wedges but, here we are. I've already got them loaded in the cart. Once I finish Christmas shopping, a 50, 54, and 58 are in the bag.
Very different animals.
ES21 is not really a perimeter weighted forgiving wedge. How so? Going to hit both when I have the chance.
ES21 is about getting the CG as centralized as possible for the most consistent spin as possible, it’s not a perimeter weighted design. The CBX offers legit perimeter weighting, it’s a forgiving wedge design. How so? Going to hit both when I have the chance.
The Edel have moveable weights, but are not a perimeter weighted wedge. They’re different beasts, the CBX is a forgiving wedge which at setup looks quite traditional. More golfers should look at these to be honest. How would these compare to the Edel SMS wedges in forgiveness? Are the Edels perimeter weighted?

Yup, this one is awesome, it’s why I made sure to have it in the article!
So I might have been wrong about this take. I had one in hand today and the back looked sharp in person.I’m with you something. Something about the look just doesn’t pull me in. It almost looks too plain but not classic for everything it’s got going on.
Ugh. I am always very careful about making sure I don't leave a club behind. But today I did it and left my CBX2 56* on the course. Nobody turned it in this afternoon. If it doesn't pop up Sunday, I may be treating myself to a Zipcore to replace it....
