It went okay. If I am being honest, he basically said I am a mess on the takeaway, which I ahve known for a while and its something @Canadan and I have discussed in the past during our last round. When I take it away too far inside, obviously fighting over the top, which leads to a pull for me. If I take it away correctly, my balance and weight shift gets extremely off to the point where I am all sorts of messed up.
He gave me some drills to work on, but time is not really allowing for that, but I will get a few swings in before we tee off.
Or...
maybe I am aggressively posturing and it's pure joy right now..
I can relate.
So if it's not comfortable, do you just default back to comfortable for the GOAT cup?
I know you'll probably say otherwise, but you've been playing decent by all accounts.
I come over the top pretty bad, so my lesson focused on trying to keep a solid path and take away. if i do it correctly per the lesson i hit a nice shot, if not its pretty ugly,I try not to, no. I understand that some points in the game will suffer, but moving forward is pretty important. With that said, it is still very uncomfortable and the swing has gone from folding lawn chair to some sort of unicycle riding over a flaming table of tacks, but its getting there.
Ouch.I'll bookmark this for December.
Ouch.
OK. Maybe I deserved that.
You don't mean that.
Well revisit in December.
I'm torn. I read Pumbaa's posts in the Lion King character's voice, and add 'eh to all of Canadian's posts.
You got this bro. I believe in you. Worst case, just keep feeding him rum drinks.I know, trying to get in his head. Get him to take it easy for an easy dub, but then my pops come into play and next thing you know its a match.
He’s like a gremlin, feeding him rum will only make him a more frightening opponentYou got this bro. I believe in you. Worst case, just keep feeding him rum drinks.
Just trying to add to the entertainment value!! Not that is is needed, this will be fantastic as is, but seeing @Canadan rummed up would be fun! He’s like a gremlin, feeding him rum will only make him a more frightening opponent

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Dormie Network runs things differently then your typical stay and play facility. You are NOT allowed to bring any outside food or beverages into the cottages. They are very strict about this, and if you are caught, they can revoke our membership.
With that said, the rooms are fully stocked with food and drinks, but please keep in mind anything you take from the room is being charged to THP. We want you guys to have the best experience possible, but we ask if you plan to do a lot of drinking, please go to the clubhouse bar and either drink there or purchase a 6 pack of beer or whatever your alcoholic drink of choice is and bring it back to the room.
Need plenty of carbs to get through 54 holes in 2 daysNot terrible if you keep it protein heavy, but the carbs are going to get me.
