Thanks man...it does suck, but we did good by her, so she was always happy. :D
 
this is our kitty emmy, she is beautiful and has the biggest green eyes! She's almost 1 year old and is the most patient kitty ever!

Just a quick note, as I've already posted my pooch Ice.

If any of you find yourself wanting to adopt another dog, or if you are ever interested in helping transport a rescue to its foster home (usually one of several "legs" and a good way to hit a new golf course once the dog is dropped off), I'm linked in to several dog rescue groups, some breed related (xolos, Thai ridgebacks, GSDs, pitties) and a couple non-breed restrictive.

Please pm me atbany time if you are interested in any or all... Also, if you're a "working dog" specialist, I have a link to a working dog rescue as well.

man. really sorry about Little Amber. They do get attached to one another when they live together and the loss of one has a bigger impact on the surviving pets more than many realize.

Dog man, I am so sorry about your loss. I read something on one of my pets groups where a woman was grieving the loss of her dog and speaking to her priest... Now I'm not what anyone would call religious, but his response stuck with me. He told her that God only threw the humans out of paradise... That the pets were always welcomed.
 
I posted some puppy pics - now Finlay is past 8 months old and weighs in around 8 lbs, pretty large for a Maltese...

By the way, have you ever seen a dog do this? Finlay will stand on his hind legs, then plop down into this sitting position for a minute or more at a time...

Thanks Spazz...guess the loss is expected when you take in as many older animals as we do. And pretty funny how they can "rule" our lives for a bit...:D

Here is a pic of my new canine hunting partner and of course my best hunting partner. My daughter.

The mutt is a Field Bred English Cocker Spaniel and was about 10-months old when the pick was taken last season.
