Ft Worth Golfers ?

Question; I was playing at Rockwood today, and in the fairways were little dirt piles, with holes in them, that aparently had been put there by some living creature digging under the ground. They were not very big, being only about an inch or two in diameter. They were all over the fairways. What makes this little pile of dirt? I saw some enormous ant beds. Back home all we have are a few gophers mounds every so often. Just courious. Thanks, :confused2:

We've got prairie dogs, moles, voles and gophers in the area. It could be any of them. I've got moles in my yard from time to time.
