Didn't feel comfortable ANYWHERE on the course today except the tee. Had it not been 82* I would have stopped after 9. I had to scramble my ass off too to keep the score respectable, so I guess that was at least good for me.

No clue where this crap came from.

Stick my head out Sunday, white driveway but clean lawn. Seemed safe to head out for the "Snowball Scramble" at the course.
I was mistaken. -5C / high 20s F. 30km/h winds. And the course is 5-600 feet higher elevation than my place.

I lost...many, many balls. Most in the fairway or what could have been the first cut. And there were THIRTY-SIX of us playing the idjut. One team was -12. On dead frozen greens with an inch+ of snow.
If we hadn't had a broom for the greens we'd have quit.

I think...it's time to accept the season has ended. Phooey.

To hell with all of that. Every single bit of it. LOL. I don't recommend War Eagle looking at these pictures. Poor guy will have a conniption.

Yeah hands were tied had to have it done tonight so just took one for the team.

My long game is gone. Makes me want to snap things over my knee.

Either bad reverse pivot causing tops or coming across and causing snap hooks.

Irons seem to be OK. WTC?
 
That is rough T0AD. It happens to me all the time. I dont have a solution other than not overthinking. The more I think about it, the worse it gets.

Sounds like me man, long game has been off and on, but mostly off. And Im certain going through a checklist standing over the ball is not helping matters. A lesson in the future for you perhaps?
 
Went to the range last night. My first 6 balls we hosel rockets with my 56! I was beside myself, had to walk away for a few minutes. Finally Matt says "I think your transition is way to fast". Words I use with him coming full circle. But talk about a confidence killer
