What is the one thing you think of when you think of the British Open? Weather of course. Well, this year we are doing something really cool in partnership with Nike Golf. We are going to give away one of the AMAZING RAIN SUITS that you are going to see on the players. I have one personally and can tell you a couple of things about them.

It is the most stylish rain jacket I have ever come across.
It is definitely 100% waterproof based on the rain we have had here this last week as well.

Since it is a major you know that it usually means picking the players, and THP and Nike Golf did not let you down this time either. We have a little twist on this one though.

You will be picking a team of 5 players for your roster out of the entire field at the Open. But there are a few twists.

2 of your 5 players must be Nike players.
If you pick Tiger Woods, you only get a 4 player team.

Rules

1. Only one entry per person.
2. In the event of a tie, Tiebreaker will be awarded based on total number of winning score.
3. Entries must be received via email or Private Message by 11:59pm EST on Wednesday July 15th, 2009. josh@thehackersparadise.com or golfergal@thehackersparadise.com
4. The team with the most prize money wins.

To enter simply pick your team of 5 players containing 2 Nike players (4 players if you select Mr. Woods) and send it in, along with your tiebreaker of total number of the winning score.

The Prize
Long Sleeve Version of this Picture and matching pants. Retail Value (ALOT)

Let's not forget that Immelman withdrew.

(I also heard that Robert Karlsson withdrew as well, but don't know for sure)

Robert Karlsson did withdraw eye injury.

JB, are you wanting total strokes or a number relative to par? Just wondering how to make it easier on you.

Total strokes.

I've submitted my entry. All my players should finish poorly just like in the other contests.

It sucks how there is always a penalty for picking Tiger. I know he's the best...but not everyone would pick him. It's not like he's untouchable.

I'll submit my entry soon.

Right, if there was no penalty to pick the number one player in the world, nobody would pick him. Of course.

Floppy is a Yankee fan so you know he wouldn't have picked the favorite.:D

Just because he's #1 doesn't mean he's going to win/do well every single tournament.

Don't get me wrong...I'm extremely biased and would/will always pick Tiger...but it just sucks how there is always a penalty.

Not sure what you mean by that. The Yankees haven't won since '00.

Anyways...I'll pick all Nike players just for the heckuva it! :D

What about getting to pick six players if all six are Nike? :D

That's life Floppy - gets used to it. There are also good things - you might win a prize. Remember your glass should be half full, not half empty.

You guys are acting like I'm pissed off - I'm not...it just sucks that there's a penalty!

And I agree - I want to pick SIX Nike Players!!

You should post them so I know who not to pick Bogey.:act-up:

Don't be stealing my "team". That way when I win we won't be tied or worse yet have to share the rain suit.

Please make sure to include your tie breaker in your entries.

Do not forget that you only have a couple of days to get your entries in for this one.

I'll have the winning entry in shortly JB. Just like I did with the last one! hehe

Hey JB if by a longshot miracle I win can I get one like the one pictured? Its just hot when it rains & I sweat like a basset passin a peach pit.:curl-lip:

I would think Nike would be okay with that, but I cannot guarantee it. It will depend on availability.

Sent ya 2 emails. I forgot to list stroke total :banghead:
