THP strikes again with another one of our secret photo sessions. These came from a very reliable source and we decided to post them for our readers. You will see all the new Bridgestone gear that is coming for 2010. Check them out and let us know your thoughts. From first glance I really like what I see.

Both the J38 Irons and the J38 460 Driver look outstanding and we look forward to more details and information coming out soon. Let us know your thoughts on them.

The Magnesium Composite stamp sounds very intriguing and I am not sure I know of another company that uses anything like that.

Not a big fan of the irons, but they put out a nice looking driver. I hated their last driver's looks.

I am hoping we have some metal specialists out there to help me understand the magnesium. It is a really soft metal IIRC, so I am curiouos about how that will work. I agree Floppy, the driver looks GREAT.

I love the look of the woods. Very pleasing to look at. What do the stock grips look like?

The irons I am on the fence on. They may play great but don't look very exciting to me. Are there hybrids that go with this set?

I love the looks of both the irons and the woods, I hadn't been a huge Bridgestone guy in the past, but these look like they might get me to reconsider! Very nice!

Is it just me or do those woods appear to have a bit of a Titleist 983 look to them? IDK, similar anyway but regardless I like!!!

Im not sure what the stock grips look like. Maybe Osahar can get a sneak peak.

JB - I have a question. Everyone tells me that I need a new driver, but the ones with big heads scare me. The head on this driver doesn't look as big as many others or is it just the photo? It looks like something I'd like and I love the red shafts on the woods.

I like the look of the irons they look like playability and forgiving irons

It says 460, so I'm assuming it's the max size. (460cc).

Maybe you're looking at the 3W?

I like the split cavity design, they remind me of a set of Snake Eyes 600XC's that I have.

Magnesium is a very light weight metal, lighter than aluminum. The trickest racing wheels have always been magnesium, to create a lower rotating mass, which equals faster acceleration.

The driver and woods have a very sleek look to them, and I've got to say that I do like it.

LOL Floppy - I can tell the difference and I know the question sounded stupid, but maybe it's the shape - it does look smaller to me.

It is a 460cc head, so it will be the maximum size, however shape plays a big role as well.

I agree, a total players club with great forgiveness.

Don't let the physical size of a head intimidate you, the weight is still similar (or less than) a smaller more dense head. You'll also gain a lot of forgiveness, and often times better power transfer with a newer driver.

As for shafts, get fitted, don't let the color be the deciding factor. Find one you like, and gives you good results, then if you want a different color, look at a product similar to Shaft Skinz Home , which is a heat shrink, and very easy to do at home.

Thanks GB. Would you think that based on that, that it would have a major impact on feel?

Maybe so, it'll depend on how they distribute that weight.

Think of it like corking a baseball bat, a lighter weight bat will swing faster. At least I'm assuming that's the intention.

I guess we will have to wait quite a while to find out. I would have liked to see some color in the irons, but I know most do not like that. However I am so curious about the metal aspect of them. Does anybody know if any irons out there have been done with this metal before?

Yeah, that is the 1st thing I read too Smallie when I was searching. Very curious why it was not done yet. If it was not done yet.

Nice looking clubs. When everyone else seems to be going to flashy graphics, these look nice and clean.

They certainly look nice enough to give them a shot. I'd try 'em.

I think I remember magnesium being pretty soft, it also looks really cool when you light it on fire. We used to burn old VW blocks in the desert.

The driver and the woods look awesome, I cant wait to hit them.
