Musty Putters

I'm really excited to see this also. Being and there and hearing what he ordered it's going to be a beauty!

Just emailed the final details for them to make up a rough drawing to send back to me before production.

I would post a picture, but want to hold out until the final approved piece is set.

The wood that will be used is Diamond Wood (Not on their site yet, just came out of contract with a customer) and I really like the looks of it with the color. I truly think this is going to be a special piece for me. Should be two weeks out once I approve the design.

This thread reminded me we have sitting in the badement for about 7yrs. My wife wanted a custom putter made for her due to her height and this was right before out first born. Unfortunately, it never made it to the course and carpet rolled only a few times.

To add on, these aren't cheap. Makes a the SeeMore I want a bargain. If it wasn't personally engraved, it would be up in the marketplace.

I went with a solid strike plate for reasons that will be shown later, but really like the selection you made. Thank goodness for the golf expo discount..almost half off.

I couldn't resist on the possible option of what is to come and they feel so good rolling them. If you ever get a chance to, roll one...I think you would be pleasantly surprised IMO.

My grandpa picked one up at last years seattle golf show. He got the US Marine Corps logo with his name on it. Absolutely beautiful putter. I'll try and get a pic next time I play with him.

OK...it's not here yet, but they sent me pictures today of the actual putter. These were taken before the final buffing they said, but looks pretty good to me. During the Denver Golf Expo, Joshn08 and I stumbled across their booth and I absolutely had to have one at the deal they were offering.

They really are quite impressive to roll and the look in person is outstanding. I knew what I wanted as far a length and lie, but he wanted to fit me anyway and it came out the same. I told David what I wanted to do and I picked out the colors and explained that I wanted to get permission first and he agreed. Had a back up plan of color scheme if it wasn't going to work out.

I immediately came home and emailed Josh asking permission, he responded quickly with some things that needed to be done. I emailed David and also went back down the next day to make sure they did their part. They completed the request and I was able to get approval from Josh quickly...BOOM, was I excited.

I was a little concerned because they were supposed to send me a mock up before they actually put the logo in. I emailed them this morning and they responded quickly with the below pictures and thankfully everything went as expected.

I wanted to publicly thank JB for allowing me the use of such a great logo. I have had such a great experience here on THP and have met some great people, both online and in person! THP is truly a one of a kind and now I have a putter to remind me of that for years to come!

You now have an idea of why I was/am so excited!

Damn Doug!!! You don't mess around buddy. That is so freaking cool! If your name wasn't on the bottom, I would be bartering with you right now. Hope it comes with a sweet headcover as well.

Looking forward to more in hand pics when it arrives!

The logo will probably be a big distraction for a while...lol. I'm sure I will get passed it eventually...maybe, should I care? (not meant negatively of course):drool:

That is very nice J4U, the colors matchup quite nice. I think I would be afraid to game it though.
 
This is such a beautiful putter. Love the green!

We hit a few putts at the Expo and the sound is pretty muted to say the most. Feels solid though.
