R9 irons to be or not to be

I have R7 TP's right now but feel my game could use more forgiveness. I have a buyer for my R7s I get gift cards for Christmas. I also have a job so I will have cash flow. But should I take the plundge. I checked the irons out when I was there last, they looked solid from recelection. I would like to here how eveyone likes their's. I have read the review, am on top of Harry's and Craig's reviews(great reviews guys:clapp. But I want more just to justify checking them out on my golf trip. I hope you all can help me.
