Which 3 wood for beginner?

I have yet to hit a 3 wood that I preferred over the Covert 2.0.

Get a 4 wood, either 17* or 18*. You will wost likely hit either further than the 15* 3 wood. Also, the 17* is easier to hit IMHO.

I'll echo the XHot or Baffler. Also, don't sleep on a 12* driver. Choke up a bit and you will find the center of the face more often.

I honestly think a driver is much easier than a 3 wood to hit - far more forgiveness.

Im giving my vote to the Ping K15 as well. Straightest 3 wood Ive ever hit and the easiest to hit off the deck as well.
