Golfing in Nebraska

Do you have any specific courses in mind?

Anyone else in the area want to try and attend?
 
No, I don't want to go to a super expensive course, just you know whatever.

No I don't have a lot of friends that golf for reasons other than drinking beer Haha.

I kind of want to play an 18 hole course for once, and a nice one.

Be warned though I'm not a good golfer. Average 56 on a par 36 nine hole course.

Rhyno, I don't care how good you are, I'm just looking forward to meeting you and having fun. I'll reach out to some locals who might not have seen this thread and get something going. What price range are you looking to stick to?
 
I dunno, I don't know what it cost to golf Lincoln.

I would say max I would want to spend would be $75.

$75 will get you on at most places, and I'd golf Ironhorse in a heartbeat.

O'Neill Nebraska, it's 3.5-4 hours depending on what route you take.

Looks like it's actually the same time to get to Ashland as it does to get to Lincoln. I'm thinking Iron Horse might have to be the course of choice.

Yea, Lincoln and Omaha Really about the same, Omaha might be a tad closer. ( not entirely sure where Ashland is, even though I have a buddy who works there for the guard)

Iron horse is one I've wanted to golf. Playing from the golds would be about right, could maybe play from the black even.

Also my home course doesn't have sand, so that would be an interesting twist Haha.

Ashland is pretty much smack dab in the middle of Lincoln and Omaha. Sounds like we've got a course, now we just need to pick a time and find some people to fill out the group(s).
 
I think the way things are going right now at work, next weekend will be a better time, for me, or any weekend after that.

What dates would work for you to come out and play?


I'm thinking may 24th or June 21st would be good dates for me, but other could probably work too.
 
Have a tourney the 18 but can miss. This month is good. June is full

Oops, sorry I forgot about Memorial weekend, I can't do that. Got a fishing trip out to Merritt. Completely forgot about that.

Haha sorry I forgot about it until last night when we were talking about it. Kind of a guys weekend.

There is a dang nice golf course out there, the Prarie club, $300 for a all day outing.

The 31st will work.
