Hi guys
So I recently picked up a backup set of irons to play with at home, a rather nice set of cleveland cg1 tour combos 3-PW
The blades are fine, but the cavity backs have got some wear which you can see inside the cavity themselves, just through some bag chatter and rub I guess?
Anyway I guessed the best thing to do was to just change the cavity to chrome rather than satin?
Bit of iron wall work to the cavities? Or am I wrong? What do you guys reckon?

that would solve some of the issue but to do that you would need to have the finished stripped and rechromed which could be expensive

It can be done. There are numerous websites that come up if you google golf club refinishing.

I agree with the above statement though... While it can be done, it might be quite pricy

I personally wouldn't worry about it, but if you really want to see how much it might cost, check out this outfit. I remember reading somewhere (maybe THP?) about a guy who got his irons refinished there and they looked, if anything, better than new afterward. YMMV.
