Yesterday I decided to play 18 with a friend at Bethpage.. Got to the course around 830 and headed to the range to work off the rust. As we walked up we noticed that taylormade was having some sort of promotional event. Asked for a bucket of balls and the guy behind the counter said," are you crazy, Go over and hit 3 balls and you get a free driver." As we walked over I saw this guy smashing balls on the range he turns around and it's Sergio Garcia, crazy right.. One of the taylormade reps grabbed us and set us up with the SLDR S driver. We each hit a few balls and gave the clubs back to the rep. I started to walk away and he called me back, I turned around and he handed me a brand new SLDR S driver wrapped in plastic and said enjoy, I was shocked to say the least. They told us to head to the first tee on black and that Sergio will be teeing off and taylormade will be filming a commercial. As we stood in the crowd we received more free stuff, a hat and balls. Not a bad day at all, not at all. To make this day a great day I finally broke 80, shot a 77. What a great day of golf...
