Courses - Glen Eagle and Stonebridge.
Format - 2-man net best ball (random draw for teams).
Cost is green fees plus $25 entry fee.
Payouts will be determined by number of players.
Anyone with an official USGA handicap can play.


There are couple spots left if you'd like to join the fun.

DATE AND SITES: JULY 17, 18, 19 (THUR, FRI, AND SAT.)
ROUND 1 AT THE LINKS AT FOX MEADOWS; ROUND 2 AT THE LINKS AT GALLOWAY AND THE FINAL ROUND AT THE LINKS AT AUDUBON

ENTRY FEE: $180.00
INCLUDES: GREEN FEES, CARTS, PRIZES, TEE GIFT ARE INCLUDED IN THE ENTRY FEE. MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: Memphis Metro Golf Association

ELIGIBILITY
OPEN TO THE FIRST 120 PAID MALE AMATEURS (ALL PLAYERS MUST CONFORM WITH THE USGA RULES OF AMATEUR STATUS) AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AND RESIDE WITHIN THE MEMPHIS AREA (FIFTY MILE RADIUS). PLAYERS MUST NOT HAVE PLAYING PRIVILEGES AT ANY PRIVATE CLUB.

ENTRY DEADLINE:
APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 5:00 P.M., SUNDAY, JULY 13 AT THE LINKS AT GALLOWAY.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: (WEATHER PERMITTING)
THURSDAY / FRIDAY TEE TIMES 7:00 – 8:50 AM AND 12:00 – 1:50 PM
THE FIELD WILL BE CUT TO THE LOW 60 PLAYERS AND TIES. THE FINAL ROUND WILL BE PLAYED AT THE LINKS AT AUDUBON WITH THE FIELD DIVIDED INTO APPROXIMATELY 4 FLIGHTS OF 15 PLAYERS EACH, FLIGHTED ACCORDING TO 36 HOLE TOTALS. IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE TOURNAMENT MAY BE EXTENDED THROUGH SUNDAY IF NECESSARY.

EACH ENTRANT WILL RECEIVE A TEE GIFT AND WILL COMPETE FOR OVER $20,000 WORTH OF PRIZES.

I think I was told last night it is October 2 & 3. It will be played at Audubon on Thursday and Fox Meadows on Friday.
 
Hey guys. I'm coming down to Memphis from Nashville for a few days around the 14th and was wanting some suggestions on some courses to play. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Plantation GC - Was just purchased by another course, but still open to the public. Used to be owned by the same people who own Cherokee below, but is no longer on their site. Doing a LOT of upgrades here.

Cherokee Valley - http://www.olivebranchgolf.com/

For a nice short track in the middle of the city, try The Links at Galloway. http://www.thelinksatgalloway.com/

I'm moving my daughter into the dorm at UT the weekend of August 15 / 16 and may have some league commitments that month, but I want in, so please keep me in the loop. Tunica, RTJ, Memphis, I don't care, just wanna play some golf with good guys.

I just realized there was a Memphis thread. I live in East Memphis and play as often as I can. I am up for a round anytime someone needs an extra.
