The Official Rant of the Day

Twitter continues to be the landing place for bitter people who can't acknowledge their own issues and always want to blame others. As long as they post their petty thoughts they somehow think that means all is right.
 
I try not to rant often but I have to today. So I text my ex wife and tell her delaney is doing real good at practice and is loving golf, she replies back, I f bomb hate f bomb golf and I dont care. This coming from a women who will act like mother of the year on facebook and wave her bible in your face.
I wanted to use a few choice words but just took the high road and ignored.
Freaking exes lol

That really sucks Shane. I see that often on Facebook as well. My fiancee's cousin is like that. Its very upsetting. I feel bad for her kids. The kids are the ones that get hurt by this.
 
Rant - it was 114 as I walked into work today, and the AC in the office isn't working well. I am here for only 7.5 more hours.
Ugh.
It is better than sitting on a plane w a gassy co-passenger, but that will end. The heat is beginning.
 
I stayed up until 3:00 a.m. last night working on removing a browser alien called start123.com .... :at-wits-end::angry::deadhorse: I used to work on computers so I was working through the reg edit and some other programs and finally cleared the sob off my system.. At least I sure hope so as my two browsers Foxfire & IE are coming up normal now .

Be real careful what you agree to that sounds like a good thing when you are on your computer late at night. It was something along the lines of do I want to increase my browsing experience etc. I can't remember the exact request but just be careful. It was a pain in the arse to get rid of!

I am not sure why I am sharing this, except that I wanted to get it off my chest. I am getting in my car shortly and heading to Valdosta, Georgia. My father and step-mother were on their way from Florida to North Carolina this morning for vacation, and something happened to her. We don't know if it's a stroke or what, but she isn't right. She can't verbalize her thoughts well, and is confused. They did a CT scan and found "something", though we are not sure what that is yet. She waited all afternoon for an MRI, but as far as I know, that hasn't happened yet. She has pancreatic cancer, so there's a chance it spread to her brain, and that's what is going on. At any rate, they moved her to a regular room about an hour ago, and she almost immediately had a seizure. They rushed her into ICU. She is not conscious. I can't stand the thought of my dad up there all alone, so I am going.

After losing a family friend last week, I am not in a good place. I am overwhelmed with emotions right now. My wife and I are insanely busy with very big stuff going on at both of our jobs, and it all feels so small right now.

Erky, so sorry to hear this. You have definitely had more than one's share of horrible news the past week.


Stay strong, the THP community is here to lens an ear and send out prayers and positive thoughts.

Thanks everybody. It's the summer of serious health problems for our family. It feels like there is no end. I appreciate all the thoughts. My wife insists on coming, so she is having to leave a 3 day event for work that just started tonight. Her co-workers are so good to cover for her. People are awesome.

Eric dude I hate hearing this along with all the other stuff that has happened to you this summer.

Damn back is at it again...cant stand still for a min before it starts to become crippling. Chiropractor appt tomorrow and not a moment too soon. Course this all stems from me falling completely out of shape and getting fat.. That ends as well next week one I get back from my business trip (or atleast will start to end).
 
Jeebus, Erky. I'm hoping things work out OK. Don't worry about coming here to get things off your chest, that's what the thread is for. I know I've posted a few things here thinking "why am I even doing this?" but I've always felt better afterwards. We're here for ya. Positive thoughts headed your way.

I don't know where my time goes. I wake up at 7ish and next thing I know its 8pm. These last two weeks have been crazy busy, and no end in site.
