Question for everyone here that know more about shafts and club heads than me. Playing JPX825's with the DG XP regular shaft - 113g. I have had great experiences in the past with shafts in the 90-95 gram range. I was told recently by someone at our local golf store that these heads are not made for the light shafts. Has anyone else heard of this before? Would like to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks

What you heard was bogus. Mizuno offers multiple shafts in that head stock that are less than 100g. I would check out the XP95s and KBS Tour 90s

I have a friend who plays nippon NS950s in his and loves them. Ordered them directly from Mizuno, as that's what the optimizer fit him for. You can definitely play loghtweight shafts in those.

I still have my JPX-825's with KBS C-Taper Lite REG (105 g) around and they are super easy to get up in the air. So easy. I had them put in after trying out the KBS Tour R's for a while.
