Wilson Sports buys Louisville Slugger

I just read that Wilson is buying iconic brand Louisville Slugger. I wondered if Power-Bilt would be part of that deal going over to Wilson Staff. I thought the family who owned Slugger owned the Nitrogen filled club line.

Just read that Bionic Gloves & Powerbilt golf are not part of the deal. Did not know Bionic was a Louisville Slugger affiliate.

Article also said Wilson will maintain Louisville Slugger as a stand-alone brand.

I just saw that via WSJ today, an interesting move, I doubt it'll have any golf repercussions, but I'm glad to see Wilson expanding overall!
