not sure which of these two to buy and what the difference is. Is one just the 2015 vs 2014? Are there any changes between them?

Get the Patriot pack. It's the same product but Bushnell donates some of the profits to the Folds of Honor charity. It also comes with a blue silicone skin. Not sure if the standard one comes with one or not.
