When I was playing regularly a few years back I treated myself to a year old set of irons.

Taylormade R7.

I get on really well with them and - especially 7 and above - can hit them fairly consistently.

Looking into period reviews of the R7 after deciding to take my game a little more seriously, I never ever realised that there were so much permutations of the R7


Question is ... can anyone identify what clubs I actually have?!

Looks like the standard r7.

I had the r7 TPs and absolutely loved them. Fantastic iron.

Might seem like a ridiculous question.. but what are the difference between these tour preferred irons and standard?

Is it material composition or manufacturing process or what?

My favorite iron set ever. I still have them, need to re shaft like 2/3 of them but they might find there way back in the bag at some point.
