I did the same thing. But I don't bring the clubs and get rentals there. Kinda like a sympathy card to play when they realize you sacrificed not bringing the clubs. The best feeling is when they say , " hey go play some golf for the day". Love those rentals

I always look for spa facilities just in case she doesn't want to play golf everyday. It's a win-win if you can find a spa that will spoil her. Probably find a sweet one in the scottsdale area, check with tanker337 he should know some good ones in that area.

Definitely get your wife into golfing. I got mine into playing a few years ago and now I play almost twice as much as I did.
She is now an absolute fanatic about the game as much as I am and still understands my desire to "go play with the guys" too.
