Just in case anyone was interested I decided to regrip mine. So I took a few pics to help anyone else out if you were wanting to do this as well....

I unscrewed the ball off the back counter clockwise, came off pretty easy when chucked into the vise.

Used a 1/2" drill bit too slowly drill a hole in back of the new grip to allow the threaded rod through the back..

Cut off old grip which had no tape... I added tape for new grip..

Then installed new grip as usual... I reinstalled the ball using a little Teflon plumbing tape...

Hope it may help someone in the future...

Thanks

Thanks for putting that together. Mine could use it soon but I would prefer to have my regular grip on it anyway.

Mine was worn and would tend to spin around the shaft... Which makes sense considering the factory was not attached with tape...

Nice write up!

Nice write-up! Looking at picking one up and would like my own grip on it

Hope it helps

This is great. I figured it was pretty easy. I'll do this to mine to add a midsize New Decade MCC grip. I hate the standard sized grip on my orange whip!
