Maddog and I are heading out in about 15 mins to go play. I'm thinking we should make a little match out of it. What format should we play and who you guys got to win? Me or Maddog, we'll be doing 9 and I'll be giving him 3 or 4 pops.

Pushed number 2. Just missed a long birdie putt and Maddog made a 5 for a 4 for the halve.

Pars on 3 for halve.

Maddog and I teeing off on the short par 3 number 4.

I parred he bogeyed. Match back to even. Number 5 par 5 he's getting a pop.

2 pars again on the par 5 7th but he was getting a pop. 5 for 4 for him. 2 down with 2 to go!

Left the ball on the edge of the hole on my chip on the par 3 8th and Maddog pulled a 3 footer for the match. 1 down on the 9th I blistered a drive down the middle and Maddog is on the left side. Walking up the 9th.

Approach on 9 for me. Caught it a little heavy.

Had 40 foot birdie putt for the tie after Maddog put his 6 iron chip shot from just off the green to about 4 inches. Miss the birdie putt on the edge. It was tracking the whole way. Lost to Maddog 1 down on the 9th! One of the better Christmases I can remember. I finished 37 and he finished 38. So he played 1 under his cap and I played 1 over playing scratch.
