THP Live Round thread!

After a 47 on the front I've pared the first 3 holes on the back. Round is getting painfully slow. I figured teeing off at 7:30 would avoid this but I was wrong
 
I hit a good drive on 13 but it rolled in a creek. Bogey
 
Going to play the home course today and it might be a slow day. Figured I'll keep a live round going for those that want to follow.

#1 is a Par 5. Here we go!
 
Easy par on 1. Thought the birdie putt would break but didn't.

#2 is the second easiest hole on the course at only 316 from the tips.
 
Had this for birdie on 2. Made it.

Easy par on 3.


Here's the par 4 4th.

Poor drive and unlucky 2nd lead to a bogey.

Even for the round.

Just noticed my pictures are sideways..... I hate tapatalk. Haha
 
Long 2 putt par on 5. Still even for the day.

On to my nemesis hole, the par 3 6th.
 
Par on 6 and a silly bogey on the par 5 7th. +1 for the day.

On to the long par 3 8th.
 
Par on 8. Still +1

Now to the #1 handicap hole and just a monster of a hole. 475 yard par 4.

Stupid double on 9 to finish with a 39. In to the much easier back side.
 
Wedge game still needs some work. Par on 10 to stay +3 on the day.
 
A nice up and down to save par on 12. Still +3 on the day
 
Had a 92 today at the country club.Ball flew great and all draws again.Short game was really lackluster today.Happy to say I'm out of the 100 golfer mode.
 
Another bogey after a poor tee shot into the bunker. +4 on the day and it's time to start making some birdies.

I'm trying! Now I'm waiting on every shot.

Didn't trust my line. Bogey on 14 to go +3 on the back and +6 on the day. Short par 4 #15, one of the easiest holes on the course.

And I make it! Back to +2 for the back and +5 on the day. Reachable par 5 next.

And now back to back birdies. +1 for the back and +4 for the day. Gotta finish strong on 2 of the easiest holes on the course.

I can't wait to see this in person a week from tomorrow. No pressure, but I have expectations for you now...

Oh no problem at all.

Finished with 4 birdies in a row and missed the eagle by a few inches. Yeah I played pretty well those last 4 holes. Haha.

Shot a 74 (39-35) and I'm pretty happy about it. I play a combo set at my course that plays to about 6600 yards.

Great round! Looks like you'll be heading into #TheGauntlet in peak condition. I'm cool with that :D
