Adapter coming loose from shaft - NEED HELP!!

I have an adapter that seems to have come loose from the shaft and I need some help with how I can get them to stay together. The shaft has not pulled completely loose, rather it seems to "spin" in the adapter. I can tighten the shaft and adapter back together by turning (screwing) them back together, but I fear it will eventually break and/or the clubhead will fly off the shaft altogether.

What glue or adhesive can I use to make them stay?

*As a side note, I have contacted the merchant I bought this shaft and adapter from seeking a replacement, but in case they distance themselves and/or refuse to help I would like to know how I might repair this myself.

If you have a local club builder at your home course or local store, they should be able to reglue it together for you.

yes, any shop should be able to fix that for you for next to nothing. Or, you can buy some epoxy and do it yourself

Follow up to my original post, merchant is sending a NEW replacement shaft so this is a moot issue. Thanks Icey and MP for replying.
