How come you never see any skinny people at the ice cream shop?? Don't they eat ice cream too?

For the most part I would say no. Thats the reason thinner people are thin.

I had thoughts a few times on ebay about bidding against fellow THP'ers. You never know who you are really bidding against as the name is usually *** out a bit.

hahaha, I was just coming back to let you know that I have indeed been Ebay snaked again! I hate it! I always tell myself that I won't bid, for this reason. I'd rather pay more money and just buy it now. Stupid Ebay.

I agree, I've never actually "won" and item, I've bought a bunch of stuff off ebay with buy it now, but never with bidding. Someone much more ebay savvy then me always snakes me.

There is a website I was told about by a friend called Auction Sniper (www.Auctionsniper.com) that I have not used but it seem it would help in things like this. I believe you put a max bid in as you would normally do on ebay but it waits till the last second to send it. Probably what is happening to you TC.

I missed on a driver for J.L. today, too. Led it until the final seconds, and even had four more bucks on my maximum bid, but got outbid at the close. Three more of the same coming up over the next few days, so now I have an idea on the market value.

I am a snake at bidding. I am really stealthy and even download a few programs that help me bid very quick, fast, and automatically. I won my old 5 wood, and my putter from straight up bids.

True bidding on eBay seems to be a case more of who can put in the bid with the highest maximum closest to the close. Bidding earlier on just seems to end up raising the purchase price but never wins.

Back when I used to buy some stuff off eBay (non-golf, several years ago), the only time I'd ever win was on bids placed with the timer under 20 seconds, and usually my max bid at least $10-15 higher than the current high. Otherwise there was always someone else out there that would drop one in within the same timeframe with a higher max and beat me out.

I almost always use eSnipe for my ebaying. Put in your max bid and it will bid for you at the very end.

When I think of Pure joy and happiness. I think about two summers ago I was walking into a movie theater and I passed by a frozen yogurt place. It was your normal typical 115* Vegas Summer day. This chubby fat kid (two adjectives needed) was jumping up and down frantically because Mom was eating the yogurt. When she had her bite, she handed the cup of yogurt to the kid and the look on his face.....
That was pure happiness. Wrong...... but Happiness none the less.

Ok. I just watched The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia and all I can say is WOW! I can't believe a whole family can happily live that lifestyle. Do a lot of the hill folk live that way?

Diane Sawyer did a docu on the poor folks in the hills of KY. It was eye opening.

alright i'm leaving the outlaws in 15 minutes and i would like some banter when i get home. my wife gets home from her 10 day mexican vacation on tuesday and i have a pretty sweet beard working right now, so the question is should i shave it into an awful mustache just to pick her up at the airport? i'm thinking either handle bars or thin porn stash style. she hates mustaches and i think it would be fun.
