My wife & daughter had it also. We believe it was, because the cough they had lasted a while & was in upper part of the chest. They never checked to see if they were running a fever or not.

My concern is the reported reasoning for the drop. Apparently our esteemed politicians can't agree on how much money they should pump into the economy via stimulus. This will be the 3rd significant occurrence in the last 20 years. Each time we're told the circumstances are unprecendented. The unintended consequences create more angst than the virus...for me. None of us can even put $4T into context.

Thats part of the hold up.
But sending people a few thousand dollars doesn’t fix this. You have to create demand by the general public to purchase, which doesnt exist right now. I am of the belief that that is by design of a few.

And simple directions being ignored do not make it any easier.

I'm trending this way too. Let's see if we have the general thesis right...some people in China ate bats and the world economy crashed?? Sorry, not buying it.

I'll put my tinfoil hat on and get back to watching Mr. Robot, season 4.
 
Dallas county just announced a stay in your house order. Just matter of time before the surrounding counties/state does the same thing. My question is what can they really do if people don’t follow it? if they try fines and or jail there is no way that is constitutional and would most likely have a lawsuit and get an injunction to stop it.

LE won’t do anything but try to educate and maybe issue citations if that fails. Most county jails are already working to release non-violent offenders and the courts have all but shut down. A Harris County judge (Houston) let a murder suspect walk on a PR bond because of this.

LE will be concerned with any looting attempts and the violent offenders that may try to capitalize on victims in a time like this.

I think it was because we hadn’t had anything like H1N1 hit us in modern time (last time was 1918). So the response you are seeing now to Covid-19 is a direct result of the after action review done following the H1N1 outbreak.

Which party occupied the WH during H1N1?
 
Definitely had nothing to do with H1N1 being an influenza vs. covid19 being a coronavirus and what age demographics are/were targeted :rolleyes:.

At this point they are going to ask you to go home politely ... If it’s an order from the Governor enforced by the National Guard, that’s a whole different bag of issues...

Our company has been identified as essential in almost every state but certain roles are not necessarily.

My team has been identified as essential but I've been working to drastically reduce the number of people coming into the office and trying to get more setup for remote work and only a skeleton crew at the office.

Should know the verdict tomorrow.
