Missed this thread first time around but thoroughly enjoyed these videos today. Love his process and getting in the mind of a great
 
Good stuff. So did they change the ball since 2018 when Tiger said it was ready? Sounds like he has been playing this new version for over a year already.
 
I thought soft was slow? 🍌
 
Part 3 - 🐅 is ready... Crazy how much fine timing and rounds of testing tiger did and that includes all the research and development stats. You know it spins of 🐅 says he gets more spin... Nice work Elliot!

It’s a stable RPM for long drives that don’t get too out of hand. Too low spin on a good strike could mean that a strike a few mm’s high is falling out of the sky with no spin at all.

Nope, he wanted to play it but we still had a lot of work to do to get him the final version. He officially switched to the 2020 version at the Farmers in Jan of this year. Up until then he was still playing the retail 2018 XS.

So is the ball actually softer or is it the cover? When Tiger was referring to liking a soft ball off the putter.
 
Dude's playing a different game than any of us! It's crazy to think he's that precise shot to shot.
 
I’m bummed there aren’t more of these! It was funny, the entrance music was ending and my wife said “It sounds like music from a porn" and I immediately said it basically is porn, it's Tiger hitting golf balls :ROFLMAO:.

It's interesting he was ready to play the ball that long ago. That had to be exciting to know that for so long.
 
Really enjoyed this series of videos. I think my favorite line was when Tiger said y'all caught me on a good day. Even on his bad days he's amazing!

I wouldn’t play the same ball as Tiger but watching this will get me to try the appropriate Bridgestone ball for my game.
 
I really liked this. I get it, it’s advertising but I enjoy good golf content.
 
Great video series with the GOAT. Just to clarify, it is Tiger, I know what you were thinking @rehbirdie ;) Love listening to Tiger strike it and his nerdiness with the game.
 
I don't know what it’s called but there’s some terms for it, the short quick advertising, it was really good like you said, “good golf content“ in that short amount of time. It wasn’t a minute and it wasn’t five minutes, it was short enough to keep you fully engaged. That and it was tiger, golf, Bridgestone ball and content.

I always thought he said he did not like the click when putting.
 
Long and Soft. The characters of ball are very important whether you are pro or amateur, but I loved the same ball, Tour B XS that Tiger chose, after my experience with it on the course. I also felt the ball STICKING to my club faces... amazing feel. I used to be a Titleist Pro V1/V1X guy. Now I am a Bridgestone guy. Try them.

Just finished videos 2 & 3, well done Bridgestone. Great content and quality in both video and audio was top notch. Tiger on staff has so many positives for Bridgestone.
 
Can’t wait for today’s rebroadcast and hope just like yesterday when Phil was going a blow by blow that tiger would do a blow by blow of his round with Jim. Should be awesome if that’s the case.

Truly a player that comes along once a century.

Tiger starts with very short puts and works back. And when I say works back, it’s comprehensive.
Short 3 foot putts
6 foot putts
15-17 footers
Lag putts
20 foot Chips
15 yard pitch
40 yard pitch
70 yard shots
PW
9 iron
7 iron
5 iron
4 iron
3w
Driver (draws, fades and straight shots)
We are checking all metrics on all shots. Most important for Tiger: feel, windows (very important), spin and carry distance

It’s a looooong day but every minute is amazing.
