Every year I do some brews for our large family beach week. This year I did a Lemon Shandy, an Aussie IPA, and an Irish Red. Try to do some fun labels as well.

Lately, been testing a locally brewed (San Diego) beer. Ballast Point IPA. They have several varieties. I like the one called Fathom IPA. A little bitter with a kick, 6.0% Alcohol by weight. I really don't care for the Stone Brewery or "Arrogant Ale". Mexican beers are Okay. Corona, Modelo (who is maker of Corona), even the run of the mill Pacifico.

Old Frothingslosh with the head on the bottom. Then there are the Pittsburgh beers, Duqueins (sp), Fort Pitt.

I don like the "new" New Castle as much as the original. The new one is hard to describe...maybe toastier in flavor and not as smooth is the best way I can describe it.
