30 years ago today, I walked in the front door of this building. Little did I know I would be staying here this long.
3 more years and I will walk out and retire.

How long have you worked at your job ?

I'm at 18 years. Never thought I'd be staying at company 20 years, but it sure looks that way. Feels like I was just in college yesterday, LOL.

congrats on 30 years!

Been at my current company for 7 years. However, we broke off from another company and everyone that I work with were together at the last company. I worked there for 12 years.

Coming up on 11 months. Woooo! I entered the job market a little over 6 years ago and have been with 4 different companies, my longest tenure being 2.5 years.

3 years at my first job out of college, 6 years at the next, and 21 years at 3M to end my career. I was fortunate to retire in 2018 a few weeks after I turned 53.

This past July marked my 14th year at ASU.

I had a few 3-5 year stints to start, and now at my current gig 16+ years. Good run.

Just passed 15 years with this company.

25 years on the same job for me.

Right out of highschool, I spent the next 10 years in the military. Went to UNLV. (GI Bill) Was offered a construction job while in school in MARCH, 1982.

Thought I would work at it till I graduated. Graduated, and never left the job. I retired a happy camper on October 31, 2007.

I entered Active Duty 10 years ago. I commissioned 6 years ago and I've been in my current job for about 3 months.

The Army will always switch things up once you start figuring anything out.

19 years . Started at Travelers April 3,2001

I.T. for 12 years for the financial sector. Simultaneously taught as an adjunct professor for the state college system in the ghetto for people looking to work their way up in healthcare, but that was 100 hr weeks. That was too much!

Before, that, stints of 4.5 years for utility company as a bad debt specialist/tracker and employee trainer. Saved up for tech school doing that. 4.5 years at a market research firm was the longest other stint prior to school.

Lotta jobs over the years. Job market always seemed to suck when I needed to get a job. 9/11 hit just before I graduated, for example. Always bad timing and grabbed what I could get out of school anyway. Eldercare for many years now. Not "paid" but I saved us a fortune doing it myself and knew they were safe, anyway. (y)

Been doing what I am doing now for almost 8 years total with a couple of breaks in the meantime. Can't wait for kids to all get in school so I can start my 3rd career.

10 yrs same company since summer between Jr/Sr yr in school. Moved up the chain through the yrs.

This past May was 18 years with the same Credit Union. Started while I was still in college and it’s the only career job I’ve had. At this point, I wouldn’t know how to do something else.

21 years at my current company and was just told I'm being replaced. Job hunt is on and I really thought I would finish my career here.

I'm not 100% but I believe I am either in or very close to my 15th year at my current position.

The company I started with right out of college was just over 11 years.

Dinosaurs like us are getting rare; the younger generation moves around more IMO

I started my last job on July 20, 1980. The last day I worked the same job, 36 years later, was July 15, 2016.

I started in my field while going to University in 1989. I've been full time since graduating in 1994. During that time, I have worked for three employers; the current one since 2003. Home stretch with retirement possible in Jan 2024!
