2020-2021 College Football Thread

Watched the 4th quarter of the UCF - Memphis game. Turned out to be a heck of a finish with Memphis breaking a 13 game losing streak to UCF with a 50 - 49 win.

GA - AL living up to the hype so far.

ND did not play well today against an inferior team but at least they will get a bump in SOS by virtue of FSU beating UNC.

No surprise about Bama taking down GA and their so called vaunted defense.

If those Carolina receivers could catch...

Nebraska just shoved the ball down tOSU's throat on the opening drive. Keep it up Huskers!

Well....so much for the Huskers hanging with the Buckeyes.... The rout is on now.

If they could take down 10 at halftime before the game they would in a heart beat. I took the buckeyes -21 so I need a big 2nd half from the Scarlett and Gray

Justin Fields looked really good in the first half for OSU.

And OSU is getting the Alabama officiating treatment.

Nebraska did hang in better than I thought they would after those 2 easy OSU TDs. I think your bet will be safe in the end.

Not really hanging in there at this point. Will need something here to stem the tide

edit: so much for that....

I normally side with the defensive player in those situations and I don’t like Ohio state but I thought that second ejection was warranted. Sure he led with the shoulder but he hit the receiver on the hat and launched at him. He just had gotten away with a clean but very borderline hit knocking an Ohio state player out cold that caused the fumble.

Plus I’m not sure if you are a cornhuskers fan, but Scott Frost was way to butthurt by that touchdown by the Ohio state backup. Let’s call a TO with 2 seconds left because I’m petty and risk injuring my players in a super physical game. Lol

Just watched the end of the Rutgers-Michigan State game. Fans in the stadium consists of 500 friends and family.

Game ends and state troopers escort the head coach off the field. Who are they protecting him from? One of those cardboard cutouts????

I had no dog in the fight. Just was watching as a CFB fan and to see how good OSU (which I do not remotely like) looked. I have been a lifelong Notre Dame fan.

I live in Indiana, and have been to a ND game the last 3 years so I’m in the same boat with ya! I went to IU tho and I thought they might give Penn State a run but it’s looking ugly so far.

OK State and Iowa St. is good game so far. OK State up 14-7 in 2nd Quarter.

Wow IU game is on TV! Let’s go Hoosiers! And the first play I saw was a go ahead TD!

@Afizzle2100

Rutgers ends a 21 game Big 10 losing streak.

Jaylen waddle out for the year. Not good for Bama

Apparently OSU coach was apologetic after the game for not taking a knee and having his backup QB score a TD. Claimed he didn’t have the right personnel on the field to do so.

Penn State looks like they are going to escape with a close win over Indiana.

Guess I jumped the gun. Indiana played some smart football in the final 2 minutes to most likely force OT.

Penn St player made a bad choice. Scoring the TD. Had he sat down the game would have been over.
