We packed a 13lb turkey and all the fixings then drove 9hrs to Enid OK, to surprise our son with a Thanksgiving Dinner. His brother drove 11hrs to be a part of this day.

8yrs ago on Thanksgiving, my wife got a call from the Cleveland Clinic; they were telling her that they are giving me last rights. That's the last time we had Thanksgiving Day together, she usually goes to her sisters house in Chicago. So today is maybe a replay of how we celebrated maybe 15 years ago, until today. Amish Turkey with herbs,lemon and oranges, hot italian sausage stuffing(inside of bird while cooking, reg stuffing for my wife, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy,freshgreen been casserole, and homemade bourbon pecan pie.1606427636326.png
 
Leftovers for days and I couldn’t be happier about that. Turkey sandwich is on the clock after I digest round one.

Smoker is going strong, pies are going in the oven, everything else looks to be on schedule, time for a little break to catch up here on THP. All of these posts look incredible!

The spreads look great; Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We decided to make two turkeys and put some in the freezer. I have lots of pictures and attempted to put them in chronological order but I ommitted multiple pictures of the same thing. F*ing amazing! Initially my wife was skeptical that I changed up and added sausage.... pretty much everything else was same but afterwards she was like, who gave you this recipe.... told her if I divulge I’d have to kill her... she was like, yeah, your Hackers girlfriend give it to you! 😇
She loved it and my two sons were both like, mom, be quite... let dad alone.... that hackers things is more than just golf....
