The most distance I ever ask of my 4 iron is 200 yards. The shortest, full swing, shot I'll attempt with a pitching wedge is 100-110. That creates a gap of 100 yards at the most. To cover that 100 yards I lug around 7 golf clubs; or 8 if you toss in the gap wedge. Does that not sound...
